Finding a ladies cardigan sweater to fit your figure

I’ve mentioned it in other posts however it is important to find Cardigans for Women to properly fit your figure.  Cardigans are so versatile and great however, the wrong one can make you look frumpy, bulky, wide, and just like an overall bum and you don’t want that!  Sure, you may not think it looks bad on you but even if you have the slightest doubt the following will help you.
Decide how long you want a cardigan to be.  If you’re shopping at Fzillion.com for cheap cardigans and want to find a navy blue cardigan for example, then you’ll want to see how the length fits on the model.  A cropped cardigan is great if you have a high waist however; if your waistline is more at your hips, a short cardigan will look a little odd on your body.  If you have a square or apple body shape you may want to find a ladies long cardigan.
The closure on long or Short Cardigans for Women makes a difference as well.  Nearly every cardigan has button closures however; pay attention to them.  Several ladies cardigans have smaller buttons.  The number of buttons will affect the neckline.  If there are multiple buttons on a wool or cotton cardigan, the neckline will be high.  If there are only a few buttons, the cardigan will have a low v neckline.  A cardigan with few buttons will accent your waist nicely however; a lot of buttons will affect your bust and you may have to wear it halfway buttoned down.
You want to consider seams and fabric when selecting a short sleeved cardigan.  Remember, heavy cardigans are bulky and hide a petite or thin woman’s figure.  If you care more about warmth than style then go for the heavy cardigan.  Just remember, cardigans are typically worn as layering pieces.  Therefore, the thinner the fabric the more layers you can pile on.  The seams on a fitted cardigan are brought in more and are very flattering on a thin figure.
Most importantly of all, have fun and find a cardigan you will love and wear for several seasons to come!
