6 Great ways to layer knit cardigans this season

Cardigans are just as versatile as a camisole or neutral color blazer.  These are the pinnacle layering piece for winter wear and we’ll examine a few ways you can look great in them this fall and winter.
Long Cardigan Outfits are warm and stylish.  Find a cardigan with a hem well below your knees.  A short or mini skirt or short cutoff denim shorts will look great.  Wear a nice white camisole under and you’re ready for a trip to the mall.
Crochet cardigans and chunky cardigans look great with a scarf.  Not only is this a trendy winter outfit but it will most importantly keep you warm!  When you do this, wear some skinny jeans or leggings to help balance it all out.
You can choose to wear a cardigan opened or buttoned up.  If you wear it buttoned up you can use boyfriend cardigans or a men’s chunky knit cardigan over a button down collared shirt.  The shirt gives it a trendy statement and you can choose to either dress up or down with the look depending on if you want to wear jeans or slacks with it.
One trendy look is to tuck a Women’s Long Cardigan into your pants or shorts.  Just make sure to use thin cardigans for this as they can get really bulky really fast!  You’ll also want to try a fitted cardigan for this look.  Wear some high waist slacks or skirts.
A draped cardigan sweater with an open front has a nice look when paired with straight leg jeans, shorts, or long skirts.  The open front allows you to show off the blouse or t-shirt you choose to wear with it.  A nice print on a draped cardigan will make this outfit fun and playful.
For another fun look, embellish your long cardigan for women with a brooch, pin, bow, or whatever else suits your personality.  If you go with this look try not to overdo it with the rest of your outfit to make sure everything is balanced out.
